Meraki Duo

Description

Musikkens Venner welcomes Meraki Duo to Arendal for the first time. Meraki Duo won the II International Chamber Music Competition for Flute & Guitar (2023, Spain), and for over ten years has delighted audiences in Britain with their distinctive programmes for flute and guitar. In the summer of 2025 they recorded their debut album Notes from the Living Room for Delphian Records, with release planned for September 2026. The flautist Meera Maharaj expands the duo's expressive range with the alto flute in works by, among others, William Grant Still, Toru Takemitsu and Miroslav Tadic.
