Nour Ayadi

Description

From Casablanca to Sandvika - one of Europe's most exciting young pianists ready for Store Sal in April 2027. With a rare combination of technical brilliance and musical depth, Ayadi has already won glowing reviews internationally. With three albums behind her, she has developed a distinctive and compelling artistic voice. Ayadi was born in Casablanca, Morocco, and began playing the piano at the age of six, before continuing her studies in France. She has studied at, among others, École Normale de Musique de Paris and Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, and has won, among others, the Grand Prix Cortot. After the interval a different perspective is introduced: Varvara Gaigerova's Four Sketches. These four short movements are concentrated musical moments, where the expression shifts quickly between introverted lyricism, unrest, stillness and passion. The concert ends with Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition - one of the most iconic works in the piano literature. Programme: Gaigerova / Four Sketches Mussorgskij / Pictures at an Exhibition
