"Kvinnelige spor i musikkhistorien" (Female Traces in Music History) is a music outreach project and a concert series which since 2017 has presented exclusively music written by female composers.
The series was the first in Norway to focus on unknown repertoire written by great names who ended up forgotten after the composers' deaths.
The project's purpose is to inform the audience about these female figures, to bring out their life stories, their place in society and the traces they left in history.
