VoxLAB VårFEST '20
25. aug. - 28. aug.
Oslo
Dear audience!
VoxLAB warmly welcomes you to the celebration of the voice as an instrument at this year's festival VoxLAB VårFEST 2020 - 25.-28.08.2020
Because of the coronavirus epidemic and infection control considerations, we are unfortunately forced to postpone some of the planned concerts and workshops at the festival indefinitely. This applies to the festival's main guest, the composer Franziska Baumann, as well as the narrative opera "Det Innerste Lyset" by Kristin Bolstad and Tormod Fuglestad and "Blind Date Impro". We look forward to presenting these on a later occasion.
We can welcome you to two full-evening programmes on 25 and 28 August at Sentralens Marmorsalen, and a guided immersive performance on 27 August around Grünerløkka directed by Ann-Helen Schjølberg.
Date 25.08 - Seks Solier! //VårFEST 2020 in Marmorsalen at Sentralen with Elin Rosseland, Evelina Petrova, Christian Beharie, Trina Coleman, Bendik Sells and Tejaswinee Kelkar.
Date 27.08 - Urge Displacement //VårFEST 2020 - a guided immersive performance around Grünerløkka and a concert at MIR.
Date 28.08 - Flerkanalsverk for stemmer //VårFEST 2020 in Marmorsalen at Sentralen - new works by Mariam Gviniashvili, Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer & Julian Skar, Anders Vinjar and Kristin Norderval. The concert is curated in collaboration with EAU - Electric Audio Unit, which works on communicating electroacoustic music, with a particular focus on multichannel works, 3D sound and immersive listening experiences.
WELCOME TO CELEBRATE EXPLORATORY VOCAL MUSIC WITH US.
Best wishes,
the board of VoxLAB
**VoxLAB is closely following infection restrictions in the form of audience limits and other measures. In addition we offer everyone in the audience a mask at the entrance. Tickets are bought in advance online.
