Fredriksten operafestival
11. jun. - 20. jun.
Halden
Opera Østfold invites you to Fredriksten Operafestival from Friday 11 June to Sunday 20 June 2021. It will be a whole week filled with magical opera experiences for young and old. For the youngest we offer, among other things, a world premiere with Ruffen and the Flying Dutchman as well as Barnas Sommerfest outdoors in Busterudparken.
The seducer Don Giovanni drops by Halden, and stays long enough to fill Fredrikshalds Teater three times over! The world star Ann Hallenberg also comes to the theatre, while the talented Sanne Kvitnes and Heidi Gjermundsen Broch pay tribute to the musical in Drømmen om Morrada'n. Enjoy an Afternnon Tea at Østgård, go on an Opera Cruise on the fjord or dress up for a party at the Opera Gala. We offer 26 different events throughout the week!
We follow the government's infection control rules at all times, and we not only welcome you to a summery opera adventure, we also welcome you to a coronavirus-safe event.
