Since 2017, Engegårdkvartetten has organised the mini-festival “ - på 123” where fantastic musicians explore one chosen composer - in a packed 3-day programme. 12-14 November 2021 is dedicated to the man and composer Joseph Haydn. Engegårdkvartetten with friends Berit Norbakken, Håvard Gimse, Joachim Carr, Atle Sponberg and Øyvind Gimse presents 7 events, from children's and café concerts to The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross. This year's programme offers rare gems such as Arianna a Naxos, widely known melodies such as the Emperor Quartet and the Gypsy Rondo, as well as a lovely selection of piano trios, piano sonatas and string quartets. Experience intimate concerts, family concerts, talks with live playing, and the beautiful The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross with Engegårdkvartetten and young people from Den Mangfaldige Scenen. About the festival På 123 The annual classical mini-festival På 123 goes in depth on one composer over three days. Children and young people take part in the journey of discovery, both as performers and as audience members. Engegårdkvartetten is the driving force behind the festival, and the repertoire focuses on the intimate and the chamber-musical. The festival På 123 wants to be enriching and knowledge-building, while the communication creates closeness and the programming is inclusive. The festival has its home in Nynorskens hus, which has been rediscovered as perhaps the best room for chamber music in the capital. Here the resonance is large, the audience close and the placement optimal.
