Welcome to the music festival!
It is with joy, eagerness and enthusiasm that we welcome you back to Gudbrandsdal Musikkfest. Music is the world language that binds people together, and our music festival is to create great experiences and well-being. We hope the music festival will become a meeting place between people from the villages of the valley, cabin folk in the mountains of Gudbrandsdalen and good people who come with the same purpose, to hear fine music.
It has been fairy-tale-like to get Gudbrandsdal Musikkfest started. From Lillehammer in the south to Lom and Lesja in the north we have met applause for the whole valley creating something unique together.
Many of the foremost performers of popular classical music and classical folk music are ready. On the way to a concert you can experience the Gudbrandsdal kitchen, with exciting food and drink on the menu. And we offer concert venues with charm and character, with hosts who are greatly looking forward to visitors.
