Fagerborgfestspillene is a student-run music festival organised every year by 3rd and 4th year students at Høyskolen Barratt Due. The festival offers concerts of high musical quality from the top tier of future Norwegian musicians, and has a unique theme every year. This year the theme is "Spekter", with the focus on exploring joy in playing and different ranges within classical music.
The festival consists of three concerts: a children's opera, a folk-music-inspired chamber concert and a more world-inspired chamber concert. The artist Ingrid Øvrebotten Lie has, in collaboration with the festival team, created three paintings, each of which represents one of the concerts. We are proud to link music with visual art, and we look forward to offering the audience an enriching experience!
