Valdres Sommersymfoni

Valdres sommersymfoni has established itself as one of Norway's leading classical chamber music festivals and presents some of the world's foremost classical performers every year. The international chamber music festival offers around 30 concerts and events at about 15 venues throughout Valdres and attracts around 9.000 visitors every year.
The audience meets international star musicians in idyllic surroundings such as barns, (stave) churches or out in the beautiful Valdres countryside, and gets to experience warm and inspiring encounters with classical music. Valdres sommersymfoni is part of Norsk ressurssenter for klassisk musikk KF, which runs the festival, the courses and national and international projects.

Artistic council: Jakob Koranyi, Peter Friis Johansson and Marianna Shirinyan.
