Lofthus
Hardanger Musikkfest is a chamber music festival based in beautiful Lofthus in Hardanger. The festival was established in 1996 by Stig Nilsson, then concertmaster of Oslo-Filharmonien. The festival has a rich history, with concerts around the Sørfjord and surrounding area. Hardanger Musikkfest is known for challenging the musicians in new combinations and new repertoire. There are many success stories of collaborations that continue after the festival has ended. This year is no exception. We promise that our versatile and skilled musicians will create very special concert experiences in new encounters that can only be experienced at Hardanger Musikkfest.
