På 123 is an annual, classical mini-festival characterised by closeness and depth, conveyed across generations and fields by performers recognised at an international level. - An enriching, knowledge-building and inclusive festival! The idea behind På 123 is to let fantastic artists go in depth on one composer over 3 days. Children and young people also join the voyage of discovery, both as performers and as audience. Since the Engegårdkvartetten is celebrating 20 years this year, and this is the 10th edition of På 123 festivals, this becomes a celebration of highlights from the Engegårdkvartetten's 20 years together so far, and 10 På 123 festivals. The Engegårdkvartetten is the driving force behind the festival, and the repertoire focuses on the intimate and chamber-musical. Until this year the festival has had its home in Nynorskens hus. We are excited to be at Sentralen for the first time in 2025! The festival organiser, the Engegårdkvartetten, is one of Norway's most sought-after chamber music ensembles. The quartet is known for its many bold and fresh interpretations of the classical repertoire, while also emphasising its Scandinavian origins. The Engegårdkvartetten has gained international recognition, and has helped to create good, close bonds with several leading international performers. This is reflected in very varied and rich concert programmes.
