Halvorsen musikkfest
21. apr. - 26. apr.
Drammen
Johan Halvorsen's Air Norvégien and Passacaglia are music known all over the world. Music that has been played on great stages by the world's greatest musicians. Halvorsen is from Drammen and is one of Norway's greatest composers from the National Romantic golden age. As well as being a composer, he was also a brilliant violinist and conductor. A tribute to Johan Halvorsen was the starting point for the festival, which first saw the light of day in 2005 and was the source of an excitingly programmed festival in the years that followed.
