Lofoten internasjonale kammermusikkfest

Lofoten Internasjonale Kammermusikkfest aims to bring a varied programme of classical music - performed by international artists at a high level - to Lofoten. Over 20 summer editions and five winter editions we have held concerts in every single church in the whole of Lofoten. From Røst to Digermulen. In the summer of 2024 we celebrated our 20th anniversary.
The focus is chamber music and piano music from Haydn (c. 1750) to the present day. The festival is held every summer in the second week of July. The base is in Svolvær, but the concerts take place in a number of venues in both Vågan and Vestvågøy municipalities.
