Rosendal Kammermusikkfestival
6. aug. - 10. aug.
Rosendal
Rosendal Kammermusikkfestival was founded in 2016 by the pianist and artistic director Leif Ove Andsnes. Each summer he invites musicians and speakers to a musical long weekend in Rosendal. Baroniet Rosendal is beautifully situated between mountains, waterfalls and fjord, and creates the perfect surroundings for an intense chamber music experience that draws audiences from all continents.
With up to ten concerts, each festival explores its own theme, a composer or a period. Talks and conversations also give insight into the music and art life of the period.
