SSENSIELT2024
27. sep. - 29. sep.
Oslo
Dear audience!
We welcome you to the autumn's most beautiful musical adventure in Marmorhallen at Sentralen in Oslo, 27-29 September.
We are celebrating our 10th anniversary with 5 concerts over 3 days together with some of Norway's finest musicians, and we look forward to playing several of music history's small and great gems.
Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Brahms are almost obvious to include, and our Norwegian roots make the road short to composers with names like Grieg and Nordheim. Among the newer additions to the Norwegian and local flora, we find the exciting composers Anna Berg and Kyrre Sassebo Haaland, as well as the acclaimed Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho.
The Saturday evening concert is dedicated to folk music, with slåtter after Knut Dale in arrangements and new interpretations by Edvard Grieg and Kyrre Sassebo Haaland. In addition, Engegårdkvartetten are given free rein to take us into their own folk music world.
Do take a look at the full programme on the programme page, and we hope you will all find something you would like to hear.
We look forward to lovely autumn days at Sentralen with good friends and colleagues, and hope you will join us!
We would also like to extend a big thank you to our supporters who have believed in us and given us support for this exciting project.
