Håkonshallen in Bergen is a medieval stone hall. It was first built as a royal residence and banqueting hall during Håkon Håkonsson's rule of Norway (1217 – 63). As a national monument, Håkonshallen is still used both for royal dinners and other official occasions, and is also frequently used as a concert venue. Photo: Magnus Skrede, FiB
