Haug kirke Hønefoss

Haug kirke dates from the Middle Ages and was originally built as a single-nave stone long church in the 1200s. The church is beautifully and centrally situated in Haugsbygd in Ringerike, in the former Norderhov rural municipality, but since 1964 part of Ringerike municipality in the former Buskerud, now Viken county. Access to the church site is via county road 2890 (Fløytingen) or via Harehaugveien from county road 241 (Hadelandsveien). The church has approx. 250 seats.
