Kjøpmannsgata 38, Trondheim
Kjøpmannsgata Ung Kunst is a gift. From the visual artist Kjell Erik Killi-Olsen, to Trondheim, to art and to the people.
When Killi-Olsen bought Kjøpmannsgata 36/38 in 2017, it was an old fire site with older buildings. Here he wanted to build Trondheim's most attractive meeting place for art and culture. Today it has become an art house that reaches both broad and narrow audiences, with room for both established and less established artists. Most of all he has given space to younger artists.
