Ramme is a rich and unique cultural destination. Its location by the Oslofjord, with views of the sea and the horizon to the south, is incomparable. Here you will find beautiful nature, parkland and a great deal of history. Welcome to a fairytale reality!
The place's cultural heritage will be presented in a new museum later in autumn 2020 and outdoors. This is where the Kristiania Bohemians and Edvard Munch came to live in rural harmony. Here you can wander in their landscape and visit Munch's estate and home, Nedre Ramme.
With its history and atmospheric landscape as a backdrop, Ramme is the perfect place for cultural experiences. Here we will offer larger events such as music and theatre festivals and garden days, but also concerts, courses and talks. You will also be able to learn more about Ramme's food philosophy and join cookery courses with foraging of ingredients from land and sea, and wine tasting in our rich wine cellar.
