Søgne gamle prestegård

Søgnetunet 11, Søgne

Go to website
Søgne gamle prestegård is one of the finest farmsteads in Sørlandet. The place has roots going back to pre-Christian times and has been the centre of Søgne for hundreds of years. The farm is called Søgne and has given its name to the municipality. Today it is a cultural centre, and Søgne gamle prestegård wants to be a meeting place and destination all year round, where events, art exhibitions and nature experiences become parts of a complete experience. The buildings are well suited to courses, conferences and parties. The surroundings are sheltered and at the same time open and varied. In the garden stands a bust of Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, and several works of art are placed in the area. Søgne gamle prestegård is a great starting point for walks around Tjomsevannet or to Bygdeborgen.
