Description

Skellefteå Kammarmusikförening proudly presents the winners of Ung & Lovande 2025 - BrassUnit! And even more young and promising is the support act - Kulturskolan's wind band Sambandet plays at 18.40 before the concert with BrassUnit. In spring 2025 BrassUnit won the chamber music competition Ung & Lovande. In autumn 2026 the brass quintet goes on its winners' tour across Sweden. BrassUnit was founded in 2020 by five young musicians who met through the talent programme YOMA in Vänersborg. Since then they have established themselves as one of Sweden's most interesting brass quintets, with appearances at festivals, in concert halls and at chamber music societies in Europe. BrassUnit often commissions and premieres newly written works in close collaboration with young composers.
