Trio Lingo presents a concert where French impressionism, classical tradition and contemporary music meet. On the programme are Lili Boulanger's poignant D'un soir triste and D'un matin de printemps, as well as The Restless, a contemporary piano trio by the ensemble's violinist and composer Villads Littauer Bendixen, and Dvořák's piano trio "Dumky". Villads Littauer Bendixen's The Restless is based on the play De Hvileløse (2001) by Eva Littauer. In three pictures, the story of the family's coming into being and its cruel downfall is told. The three instruments mirror the three actors in the play: the embittered man, represented by the cello, the depressed wife, represented by the violin, and the young, restless son, represented by the piano. Villads Littauer Bendixen (b. 2001) is a Danish violinist and composer and a diploma student at the Malmö Academy of Music.
