Description

“Three brilliant musicians meet. Rare artistic and technical freedom” The trio of Yura Lee, Julia Hamos and Kristina Winiarski brings together three internationally outstanding musicians with a strong grounding in the classical chamber music tradition. Combining musical curiosity, stage presence and virtuosity, the trio performs a repertoire from both the classical core and the music scene of our time. Yura Lee is internationally acclaimed as one of the few top-level musicians who master both violin and viola, and has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician on some of the world's most prestigious stages. Lee has won several major prizes, including the Avery Fisher Career Grant and first prize at the renowned ARD competition in Germany. The pianist Julia Hamos combines her American and Hungarian roots with a curious and expressive playing style. She performs regularly on some of the world's most respected stages. Her repertoire ranges from Bach to contemporary composers. Kristina Winiarski is one of Sweden's most prominent young cellists, with a versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician and guest principal in various ensembles in Sweden and across Europe. Programme: «Piano Trio No. 1 in E flat major, Op. 1:1», Ludwig van Beethoven. «Piano Trio in D major, Op. 1», Erich Wolfgang Korngold. «Piano Trio No. 3 in G minor, Op. 110», Erich Wolfgang Korngold. 200 kr/member, 250 kr/non-member.
