Malmö konserthus was inaugurated in 1985. The architect was Sten Samuelson. The building was the home arena of Malmö symfoniorkester. The concert hall had room for 1 200 listeners. The building was also used for congress and conference activities. The concert hall was located in the Lugnet district and had the address Föreningsgatan 35, at the junction with Amiralsgatan. It was centrally located, not far from Triangeln. In 2018 the premises are being converted into an employment office.
