Beskrivelse

Brønshøj Vandtårn Brønshøjvej 29, 2700 København 07.09.2021 Free Entrance Program: Niklas Brandenhoff: "Your Thou I-III" [for guitar] Peeping at the music, as though through a keyhole, with all the accompanying desires for your unattainable ‘Thou.’ Sebastian Brix: "how sweet it is to bask in sunlight" [for guitar] Sunlight. Like a sweet caress. Warm. How long have you been laying here? When does your breathing end and the sound of the waves begin? Remember. Remember this moment. Before it slips away. Remember. Remember. Vijgen & Schou: Improvisatory Spring Pastludes [for homemade instruments] Catherine Lamb: point/wave (2015) [for justly tuned steel-string guitar and Secondary Rainbow Synthesizer] Environmental sounds in the water tower become lush waves of microtonal sonorities in this long form work by Catherine Lamb, who is exploring the interaction of tone, summations of shapes and shadows, phenomenological expansions, the architecture of the liminal (states in between outside/inside), and the long introduction form. Performers: August Frey Lydersen Bjerregaard - guitar Emil Vijgen - homemade instruments Mikkel Schou - homemade instruments & steel-string guitar www.klart.net The concert is made possible with support from Slots and Kulturstyrelsen.
