Description

When Marinemusikken's sister band from Denmark, Søvernets musikkorps, visits Bakkenteigen kulturhus, it will be a concert offering the best and most beautiful of Norwegian and Danish music. In addition to sections where the two bands perform music separately, there will of course also be chances to hear the two bands “join forces”. This will be playful, powerful and grand, and there will also be a chance to get your “swing foot” moving a little. At this concert Marinemusikken is conducted by Christian Aftreth Eriksen. In addition to being a skilled musical leader, he is an outstanding arranger. His arrangements are both innovative and playful and bring new colours and give Marinemusikken the chance to show all the possibilities that lie in a band.
