Barokksolistene
Barokksolistene was founded by the violinist Bjarte Eike in 2005, and is now recognised as one of the world's most dynamic and exciting ensembles in historically informed performance practice. With a combination of virtuosity and superb ensemble playing, they strive to reach ever new audiences, especially through the signature project «The Alehouse sessions», where beer is enjoyed to energetic dance and irresistible grooves from the 1600s, with a solid helping of audience interaction. With a passion for folk music, experimental music, improvisation, visual art, dance and storytelling, they have created unique concert experiences and productions that play to full houses all over the world.
