Ensemble C4
Ensemble C4 is an active Baroque ensemble with three permanent musicians:
Caroline Eidsten Dahl, recorder
Daniel Sagstuen Sæther, countertenor
Ingrid Økland, Baroque violin
Ensemble C4 is based in Oslo and organises its own concerts, usually in the Østlandet area. Since 2015 the ensemble - with annual support from Kulturrådet - has produced several new concert programmes per year and has thereby built up a large repertoire of music from the period c. 1575-1800.
With long concert experience and good ensemble playing, the ensemble has developed a playful and virtuosic style that delights audiences and earns great feedback. In autumn 2023 the ensemble's first CD release is due, a recording of G. F. Handel's Nine German Arias on the record label LAWO Classics.
