Formødre - en hyllest til kvinner i musikken
7. mar. - 8. mar.
Melbu
The women lead the way! Will you join us?
Nordland Akademi for Kunst og Vitenskap invites you to a musical celebration of 8 March, with a mini festival over the weekend of 7 and 8 March 2026 at Arbeideren in Melbu! We offer a journey through time filled with fiery Baroque and delicate Romanticism, from almost new to truly old music, with meetings between women's voices across the centuries – and extraordinary family stories.
With a programme spanning two days, we welcome you to both fascinating talks and virtuoso concert experiences, with the strong women of music history at the centre. Welcome to an extraordinary celebration of music!
