Hannah Edmunds awarded the Operasanger Mikael Bratbosts talentpris 2025
The lyric soprano Hannah Edmunds is this year’s recipient of the Operasanger Mikael Bratbosts talentpris. The prize is awarded to young vocal talents with great potential, and the jury highlights Edmunds’ strong expressiveness and her ability to interpret central lyric roles.
This autumn she begins the prestigious Jette Parker programme at the Royal Opera House in London – an important milestone in an already promising career. The prize gives both recognition and financial support at a crucial time.
The prize-giving takes place during a concert at Kvikne samfunnshus on 7 July at 18.00, with, among others, Eva Holm Foosnæs, Ole Andreas Silseth and Irena Marcetic.
Edmunds joins the ranks of previous winners who have also taken part in Dronning Sonjas Internasjonale Musikkonkurranse.
