Imagine being able to experience a concert - from the inside - in the middle of a full symphony orchestra?
On Friday 9.2 you get the chance when Kringkastingsorkestret visits the Interpuls festival at Kulturkirken Jakob. In the concert KORK i Surround, the audience is invited in - into the middle of the orchestra and close to the musicians.
Kringkastingsorkestret and the soloist Guro Kleven Hagen fill Kulturkirken Jakob during Interpuls in a spectacular and interactive symphonic concert experience. With Philip Glass's iconic Violin Concerto, the orchestra spread around the whole room, visuals, and popcorn and bar service, we promise a symphonic concert experience quite out of the ordinary.
KORK i Surround is held as part of Interpuls - Norway's only festival for minimalist music, taking place 9-10 February.
Besides the concert with KORK, the festival presents newly written music by Eyolf Dale and Maja Ratkje, minimalist Hardanger fiddle with Anne Hytta, dance, visuals, string quartet, choir and much more!
At Interpuls you can listen to Glass and have a glass, be captivated by spectacular visuals, hang out with friends, eat popcorn and experience new and minimalist music performed by the country's foremost classical performers. The festival has been held annually since 2020 at Kulturkirken Jakob.
