Talent Norge launches new programme - Podium
Podium is a new programme run by Talent Norge for young classical musicians at the top level. With support from Sparebankstiftelsen DNB and in collaboration with leading players in the music field, the programme gives participants opportunities for exposure through concerts, festivals and recordings over a two-year period.
Through Podium, participants will also receive tailored follow-up with mentors, individual coaching sessions, networking and industry insight. The programme is intended to help develop and strengthen unique artistic voices.
Partners include Arktisk Filharmoni, Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester, Oslo-Filharmonien, Stavanger Symfoniorkester, Trondheim Symfoniorkester, Aulaseriene, Festspillene i Bergen and Risør Kammermusikkfest, among others. This programme is not only a unique offer for the individual participants, but just as much an investment in Norwegian musical life as a whole. These performers will probably be among the next guiding stars for the field in the years ahead.
