Brygga Kultursal

Brygga kultursal opened its doors in December 2008 with a bang of a gala performance in which most of the local cultural players took part: Henning Kvitnes, Onkel Tuka, Cashmere Cat, Det Norske Blåseensemble, the mayor and the county mayor, to name a few.
The hall is very flexible, with a motorised amphitheatre, a hydraulic stage of 8x16 metres and variable acoustics.
Brygga kultursal appeals to both the elite and the grassroots. This is a national stage that draws well-known artists to the town, while also being a meeting place for local cultural players.
The fact that Thon Hotel is in the same building helps make Brygga Kultursal a preferred concert venue for audiences and the big artists - the way from stage to bed is short!
Brygga Kultursal has a central location, on the south side of the town with a short way to bus, train, sea, parking and the town's nightlife.
