The New Year's Concert from Vienna

Description

Only Vienna's most skilled musicians and vocal soloists are allowed to perform when the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra from Vienna tours with a repertoire drawn from the world-famous concert shown on TV on New Year's Day. During the tourist season the orchestra gives daily concerts in the Orangery of Schönbrunn Palace, where the coveted tickets sell like hot cakes among tourists from all over the world. Every year the orchestra tours the world, where concert hall directors and critics constantly conclude that ”No one performs Viennese music like Viennese musicians”. It is outstanding and unique to get a guest appearance by the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra from Vienna, which is in great demand all over the world. On this tour leading concert halls in Scandinavia are also visited, where the audience gets the chance to enjoy, among other things, the classics recognised from the TV broadcasts. And of course every concert ends with the Radetzky March, in which the audience gets to take part in time under the conductor's direction.
