Grand Finale koncert Oplev festivalens store finale koncert med verdensklasse musikere! French Connection Academy & Festival 2026 kulminerer i en stor koncert, der samler enestående internationale musikere i en unik fortolkning af H.C. Andersens verden. En koncert af international kaliber FCA String Orchestra samler solister under ledelse af dirigent Magnus Larsson. På scenen finder du nogle af tidens mest anerkendte kunstnere: Alexandre Kantorow, Augustin Dumay, Anna Agafia, Niklas Walentin, Emilie Callesen Doulcet, Françoise Gnéri, Bjørg Lewis & Jean-Baptiste Doulcet. Verdensstjernen Alexandre Kantorow Den franske pianist, der i 2019 som den første franskmand nogensinde vandt både 1. prisen og Grand Prix ved Tchaikowsky-konkurrencen. I 2023 blev han den yngste modtager af den prestigefyldte Gilmore Artist Award med en pengepris på 300.000 $. Han har optrådt med verdens førende orkestre og dirigenter (herunder Valery Gergiev, Klaus Mäkelä og John Eliot Gardiner) og gæster top-scener som Carnegie Hall og Concertgebouw. The French Connection Academy & Festival 2026 culminates in a grand concert gathering an extraordinary lineup of international musicians for a unique interpretation of H.C. Andersen's world. A Concert of International Caliber The FCA String Orchestra unites soloists under the direction of conductor Magnus Larsson. On stage, you will find some of the most acclaimed artists of our time: Alexandre Kantorow, Augustin Dumay, Anna Agafia, Niklas Walentin, Emilie Callesen Doulcet, Françoise Gneri, Bjørg Lewis, and Jean-Baptiste Doulcet. World Star Alexandre Kantorow The French pianist, who in 2019 became the first Frenchman ever to win both the gold medal and the Grand Prix at the Tchaikovsky Competition. In 2023, he became the youngest recipient of the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award with a money prize of 300.000 $. He has performed with the world's leading orchestras and conductors (including Valery Gergiev, Klaus Mäkelä and John Eliot Gardiner) and graces top venues like Carnegie Hall and the Concertgebouw. A Musical Journey Through Andersen's Fairy Tales The program is an artistic journey through H.C. Andersen's life and works. The ensemble performs chamber music woven together with Andersen's fairy tales and poems with music composed by Weyse and Grieg, among others, arranged specifically for the string ensemble and a new composition inspired by the fairy tale The Nightingale, composed by Jean-Baptiste Doulcet.
