Arsis Trio - NORDIC SESSIONS (pre-Brazil-tour)

Description

In October we are touring Brazil with a repertoire centered around music from the Scandinavian countries. As a send-off we are playing this concert in Copenhagen where we will be performing a selection of iconic nordic works from the classical romantic era through traditional folk music to the more recent nordic jazz legends. You can expect bright and frosty music by the likes of Grieg, Sibelius, Salinen, Nielsen, Jan Johansson and Ole Kock Hansen. The program will be rounded off with some of our favorite songs from Brazil. When? October 10th 19.30 (doors open 19.00) Where? Koncertkirken, Blågårds Plads How long? Concert is around 1 hour + a short break How much? It's free but we’ll appreciate donations on MobilePay 🙂 What else? Well, the bar is open and you're welcome to stay for a drink with us after the concert! ARSIS TRIO is an unconventional trio, consisting of cellist Torbjørn Eika, pianist/organist Alexander Bak-Hansen and vocalist Therese Nielsen. The repertoire of Arsis is jazz, folk and classical music intertwined, drawing from the varying musical backgrounds of the musicians. More about us at www.arsis.dk
