Autumn Concert - Værløse kirke's Junior & Youth Choirs

Description

When autumn sings - a concert about darkness, angels and light As the November darkness descends and the golden colours of autumn slowly give way to the silence of winter, the Junior and Youth Choirs at Værløse Kirke invite you to an atmospheric autumn concert on Sunday 8 November. With young voices, beautiful sounds and music full of presence, we move into the special mood world of autumn - from the quiet contemplation of darkness to the rustle of angels' wings and the light that always finds its way, even when the days grow short. The two choirs sing about what belongs to autumn: the darkness and the silence, the hope and the longing, the angels around us and the little light that can warm and brighten in the midst of all that darkness. It will be a concert with room for calm, immersion and musical moments that remind us that there is also light in the darkest time of the year. Taking part in the concert are the Junior and Youth Choirs under the direction of Ann-Christin Brodersen and Martin Åkerwall, as well as organist Michael Frederiksen. We look forward to welcoming you into Værløse Kirke for a heartwarming musical moment, where autumn is allowed to sing - and where together we can feel how music brings light into the darkness.
