Koppel Meets Britten
Elisabeth Zeuthen (violin) og Amalie Malling (klaver)
Description
Elisabeth Zeuthen and Amalie Malling present the concert Koppel Meets Britten – an atmospheric journey through three centuries of chamber music. The programme ranges from the elegant and lyrical Violin Sonata in E flat major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to the colourful and virtuosic suite by Benjamin Britten. After the interval, Ternio by Herman D. Koppel is performed – an intense and characterful Danish work. The concert is rounded off with Ludwig van Beethoven's poetic and mature Violin Sonata, Op. 96 in G major. Zeuthen and Malling are known for their close interplay and nuanced interpretations, and the audience can look forward to a concert with depth, presence and virtuosity.
