Concert with GuitarTrio

Description

Come to an atmospheric concert in the beautiful, intimate Vester Kirke, where Guitartrio take the audience on a journey through music, words and community singing. The trio have played together for almost 10 years and have performed in several different contexts, including in churches. The concert is built around the theme of travel - in time, place and mind. The music ranges from John W. Duarte's Riverboat Suite, in which a voyage is portrayed in different musical phases, to works by, among others, Pieter van der Staak and Konrad Wölki, which take the listener to different places in the world. Through early music we move back in history, and in works by, among others, Fritz Pilsl, different moods are explored. Between the pieces there will be readings of poems and short texts on the theme of travel, and there will be community singing along the way. Programme: John W. Duarte / Riverboat Suite
