Organ Matinée

Description

After Sunday's service, the church's organist Maja Simonsen sits down at the organ and gives a half-hour concert. The organ in Houlkær Kirke was built by P. Bruhn & Søn in 1993 and is a well-designed instrument with 15 stops. It was thoroughly renovated in 2020 and has two manuals and pedals, which makes it suitable for both services and concerts. With its fine sound, the organ is well suited to the size of the church. There will be music by, among others, Cécar Franck and F. Mendelssohn. Free admission
