Benefit Concert for Ukraine's Children

In collaboration with Musikforeningen Nielsen Saloner and Hjælp Syge Børn, Sankt Nicolai Kirke invites you to an atmospheric benefit concert with music and a strong humanitarian purpose. With musicians from Denmark, Ukraine and the USA, a sensuous and gripping concert experience is created - a shared musical prayer for peace. The concert has a clear purpose: to support Ukrainian sick children, who are also affected by the consequences of the war. The programme combines Ukrainian, Danish and European music and is performed on piano, organ, bandura and flute - as solo, duo and trio. Along the way, the musicians will introduce the works and invite the audience into the music and its stories. Performers are Duo Kraynebo (Anastasiia Kyshkovska, bandura, and Liam Larsen, flute) and concert pianist Elisabeth Nielsen. The proceeds from the concert go in full to support Ukrainian children. From 15.00 you can buy coffee, cake and Ukrainian specialities; the concert is at 16.00-17.00.
