We look forward to welcoming the Ukrainian pianist Larysa Soloviova to Saturday music at Helsinge Bibliotek. We have previously had the pleasure of Larysa's beautiful, musical playing. It is a "gift" to have the chance to listen to Larysa. This morning Larysa will play works by Mozart, Chopin and Schubert. The programme also includes the Danish composers Carl Nielsen and Niels W Gade, as well as the Ukrainian composers Mykola Lysenko and Valentyn Sylvestrov Larysa Soloviova Larysa was born in Donetsk, Ukraine. Already at the age of three she was taken with music and with singing. She trained at the conservatoire in Kyiv as a pianist and music teacher. She is a winner of both local and international competitions, both as a soloist and in various chamber music ensembles. For 35 years Larysa has been a dedicated teacher at "Kyiv Art School", where she has helped teach and develop children and young people in piano playing. Finally, Larysa has been a member of the Kyiv Academy of science Capella, with which she has toured. We look forward to welcoming both Larysa Soloviova and all audience members to the autumn's last Saturday music at Helsinge Bibliotek. As always there is free admission, and there is coffee / tea ready. Feel free to arrive in good time, so there is time to enjoy a cup of coffee / tea before the concert.
