Join us for a series of atmospheric Christmas concerts in the Opera's foyer On four afternoons in December, peace descends on the Opera's foyer as singers from Det Kongelige Operakor take their places in the foyer and sing in Christmas. The setup is quite informal in the midst of the festive season: a pianist, a conductor and members of the Opera Chorus will, over a good 45 minutes, sing a wide range of both well-known and unfamiliar Christmas songs. At the Opera we are always looking for new ways to bring our guests closer to the art form. That is why we end the Christmas concerts by creating one big community choir, where everyone is invited to sing together with the Opera Chorus and enjoy a very special musical Christmas experience. The café is of course open, so you can enjoy a glass of mulled wine before or after the concert. And if you would like to hear even more wonderful music, you can combine your trip to the Opera with the musical Evita, which plays on the Main Stage on all four concert days.
