The university choir Lille MUKO invites you to two atmospheric Christmas concerts titled 'Jul på Dansk' (Christmas in Danish) in Holmens Kirke on Saturday 19 December 2026 at 14 and at 17. We are delighted to once again have Frederikke Kampmann (soprano) and Anders Kampmann (tenor) as soloists for the concerts, which as usual offer Danish and foreign Christmas songs and hymns - all sung in Danish in lovely arrangements. The choir and soloists are accompanied by Tine Rehling on harp, Eva Østergaard and Nikolaj von Scholten on flute, and not least by Jakob Lorentzen on organ. Jakob Lorentzen is organist at Holmens Kirke and is responsible for many of the arrangements for choir, soloists and ensemble that are played and sung at the concert. Lille MUKO performs a movement from this year's Christmas repertoire, and as tradition has it, the whole is spiced up with contributions from the soloists and the ensemble. The Christmas spirit truly arrives when the audience is invited into the music with the congregational hymns, which make the roof lift when everyone sings along.
