Description
New Year's concert in Hirtshals Kirke with the piano duo Minako & Heine Two experienced concert pianists invite you to an evening of musical fireworks - a concert that will bring out a big smile. The programme is broad and very varied, so there is something for every taste, and of course it also includes well-known pieces associated with the New Year - including the Champagne Galop and the Radetzky March. Along the way the duo talk about the music, and perhaps some of the pieces also hide surprising stories. Minako Jensen Minako was born and raised in Japan, where she began playing the piano at the age of 4. Her interest in Denmark and H.C. Andersen in her teenage years, followed by Nordic studies at university in Japan, brought her to Denmark. She then trained as a classical pianist at Det Jyske and Syddansk Musikkonservatorium with John Damgaard and Christina Bjørkøe, and made her debut from the soloist class in 2013. Since then Minako has given many concerts, both as a soloist and as an accompanist. Heine Skov Jensen Heine was born and raised in Holstebro, where he began playing the accordion at the age of 11. In 2007 he made his debut as a classical pianist from the conservatoire's soloist class in Aarhus, after studies with Jørgen Thomsen and John Damgaard and a year with Matthijs Verschoor at the conservatoire in Amsterdam. Since then he has worked with music, among other things as a ballet accompanist, teacher and organist. Alongside this, Heine has given a good many concerts - both solo and together with Minako. He has also played as a soloist with Aarhus Symfoniorkester. After the concert, everyone is invited to an after-party in the church centre with a little something for the palate. Price: Admission kr. 100,- (Children free)
