Classical Concert - The Winds

Description

The Winds is the wind players' answer to today's innovative string ensembles. The trio consists of Linnéa Villén (flute), Nanna Helweg Nebel (clarinet and bass clarinet) and Lucia Amerise (bassoon), who work passionately to build bridges between genres. Here classical instruments meet folk music, newer classical music and pop in one lovely union. The repertoire springs from a wish to show a new audience what woodwinds can also do. The programme features music from Den Danske Strygekvartet's award-winning album Wood Works, new music by, among others, Jan Hansen, and the trio's own catchy arrangements.
