Novo Quartet

Description

With more than 75 concerts a year, Novo Quartet performs on world-class stages in Europe, South America and Asia. But they also seek out contrasts, as when they played at a boys' school in Kenya and experienced how music brings joy even where classical concerts are a rarity. The quartet's achievements include top prizes at the competitions in Geneva, Heidelberg, Trondheim and the Carl Nielsen competition. Most recently they have been selected as BBC New Generation Artists 2025-27. Programme: Terry Riley / Good Medicine Béla Bartók / String Quartet No. 6 Ludwig van Beethoven / String Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 131
