Fanny and Felix

Description

For this unusual concert we delve into the musical lives, relationship and development of the sibling pair Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn. In their youth they were both highly gifted musicians, but only Felix became known as the exceptional composer-genius we know today. Why was that the case, and how might Fanny and Felix have experienced their parallel but unequal journeys? Those are the questions we try to answer. The story is gripping and is told during the concert through their busy exchange of letters alongside musical interludes.
