Ledøje-Smørum Musikforening
Smørum
Vision
With its events, Ledøje-Smørum Musikforening wishes to offer good musical experiences locally.
The aim is for all concerts to be of high quality.
The repertoire is predominantly classical, but jazz and songs in the Scandinavian tradition are also part of the concert programme.
History
The initiative to start a music society came from 3 professional musicians living in Smørum, who thought that local concerts would be really good, so that one did not always have to go to Copenhagen to have really good musical experiences. After a "trial concert" it was decided to found Ledøje-Smørum Musikforening.
The founding general meeting was held on 10 April 1985.
