Thank you for this year, see you in 2021 – and listen in on DRP2! Oremandsgaard Kammermusikfest wishes to thank everyone - musicians, audience and foundations - for the successful and beautifully sounding realisation of our alternative concert on the forest stage on 31 July, far out in the forest by Kragevig, with the cellist Natalie Clein and the young string quartet consisting of Anna Agafia Egholm, Adam Koch Christensen, Nicholas Algot-Swensen and Jonathan Algot-Swensen, playing Bach, Debussy and the Danish composer Bent Sørensen. It became a particularly magical inauguration of our new concert venue, a kind of nature's own amphitheatre that arose as a new idea against an otherwise sad Covid-19 backdrop. Just under 100 people could find a place on the benches arranged around the stage, which lay on its own island, surrounded by a small stream and reached by a bridge of broad wooden planks. All of it lit by a setting sun and the glow of torches. The composer Bent Sørensen was also present and was originally to have served as house composer at this year's chamber music festival. It is with great pleasure that we can announce that we will be able to hold the planned chamber music festival with Bent Sørensen as house composer and Natalie Clein as artistic director next summer: 28 July-1 August 2021. Until we meet and listen again next summer! P.S. In connection with the alternative forest concert, DRP2 also recorded an afternoon concert in Snitteskolen with the same programme and performers, which will be broadcast on DRP2 on 18 August at 19.20 in P2koncerten. Alternatively on demand at dr.dk/p2koncerten
